If you have decided that enough is enough, and you are ready to quit smoking, I am so glad to have you here!  It is a great day for you and your family!  Way to go!

The biggest UNDERSTANDING you can make as a Smoker

is to KNOW you really are a Non-Smoker

It is true!  You were at one time in your life a clean and easy going person.  Not addicted to nicotine.  You were a truly simple non-smoker.  You started out this way, and you still are a non-smoker.  Let that thought get into your head a bit. Your smoking days are really coming close to an end.  Is that a great thing or what!  Remember, your smoking days were simply days you were addicted to nicotine, you have never really been a “smoker”, just an addict.  Nicotine is easy to remove from your body, it just takes time, and will happen within 3 weeks at the very longest.  Your non-smoking status has just been on hold, start it up again!  This is your time, it is your smoking time in life that is over-you have always been a non-smoker at heart!

Do not believe the propaganda given to you by the media

Quitting smoking is easy.  Repeat that idea, quitting smoking is easy.  You have always been told that it is hard, and you hear this, and make it real for you.  Do not let this idea fester in your internal dialogue.  You are truly a great and powerful person.  You have the power to be a non-smoker once again.  You already are!

If it is so easy, why do I feel like it is so hard?

That is is chemical addiction gnawing at you.  The fact is, once you have nicotine, you never really get to enjoy nicotine.  It is a little monster that invades your every thought, and action.  If you do not stop this growing monster and let it know you are ready to end its little problems, you are never going to become yourself again.  You are a non-smoker!  Let the cravings happen!  Do not try to substitute nicotine for something  in a gum or a patch, go without your devil for a day.  You have control, you are a non-smoker, and you are not going to let nicotine win.

What can I do if I have a craving?

You are really going to have to think about this in a new way.  You are chemically addicted, and you have been told that you will be feeling this way through our culture.  If you get into the sub-conscious of your being, and you are told that you can have cravings, when in fact, you are not having the craving, the dumb nicotine is craving you!  Step on it, and do not let nicotine have your very soul.

You and Only You have the Power to Change!

You are only under a cloud of chemical dependency and addiction.  You can absorb this thought, and decide to overcome it.  Do not think for one minute that this will be hard.  If you decide that you are deeply ready, and you have made the choice to become the non-smoker that you really are, you have found true wealth.
